Mexico is a Key Oil Supplier to Cuba, Says President

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, stated that her country has not increased oil deliveries to Cuba but has become a significant supplier due to developments in Venezuela, including the naval blockade and the US military operation that led to the arrest of Nicolás Maduro. Mexico has been supplying Cuba with oil for years, either through contracts or as humanitarian aid. The statement comes after Donald Trump announced that the US would secure up to 50 million barrels of oil from Venezuela.
