Military Schools: Examination Requirements and Procedures

The Ministry of Defense has announced details regarding the Preliminary Examinations and Tests for candidates for the Higher Military Educational Institutions and the Higher Military NCO Schools for the academic year 2026-2027. The health examination will take place at 106 SNE in Aglantzia, from March 31st to April 9th, 2026, based on the initial letter of the candidates' surnames. Candidates must submit specific, recent (no older than 2 months) medical examinations and opinions, as well as a signed declaration regarding illegal substances and a completed medical history. It is noted that the examinations are not covered by the GESY. The athletic test will be held at the Kykkos B' Sports High School in Nicosia, after the health examination, with separate dates depending on the initial letter of the surname.
