Millionaire Game Show Boosts Ratings with €90,000 Win

The game show “Who Wants to Become a Millionaire?” returned with a grand finale that achieved high viewership. A contestant, Lefteris, came very close to winning the grand prize of €300,000, answering many questions correctly and impressing the audience and host, Grigoris Arnautoglou. Lefteris ultimately left with €90,000, as he was unsure of the answer to the penultimate question. The question that stopped him was: “Which country is considered to have started the tradition of the Christmas tree?” with the options Germany, Russia, Norway, and England. The contestant answered “Germany,” which was the correct answer. The show recorded high ratings, taking first place in both the dynamic audience (14.8%) and overall (20.8%). It was followed by “Survivor” (10.7% and 14% respectively), “The Doctor” (9.2% and 8.3%) and “The Last Island” (3% and 5.3%).
