Missing Russian Businessman in Limassol – Electronic Devices Being Examined

Intensive searches are underway to locate 56-year-old Russian businessman Vladislav Baumgertner, who has been missing since January 7th in the Limassol area. The searches, conducted by the Police with the assistance of a helicopter, have been temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions, but are expected to resume with the first light of day. Electronic devices have been collected from the businessman's home and are being examined, while authorities are evaluating various information. Vladislav Baumgertner, a business owner, was reported missing by members of his staff. The Police have issued an announcement requesting information from the public, describing the missing person as a man approximately 1.90m tall, of slender build, and with gray hair. On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing black shorts and a black short-sleeved t-shirt. The initial searches focused on the area around the businessman's car, which was found in the village of Castello di Pontechianale. However, due to the lack of information about his destination, the searches were expanded to a large mountainous area. The difficulty of the searches is due to the rugged terrain and weather conditions. The use of drones and artificial intelligence software is expected to contribute significantly to the search, as they can cover large areas quickly and identify potential points of interest. The Police hope that the technology will help locate the missing person and clarify the circumstances of his disappearance.
