Needs of Vulnerable Families Persist Beyond the Holidays

The Pan-Cypriot Coordinating Council of Volunteering (PCCS) announced the success of its 12th pan-Cypriot 'Adopt a Family' Christmas campaign, although a slight decrease in needs and the number of families requiring assistance was observed. The PCCS emphasizes that the needs of vulnerable families do not end with the holidays and invites companies, organizations, volunteers, and professionals to join the Volunteering Network for continued support. The campaign managed to provide joy and relief to families facing financial difficulties, covering their basic needs during Christmas. Provincial Coordinating Councils and the Volunteer Corps played a crucial role in this success, distributing donations to those in need. The PCCS warmly thanks all supporters of the campaign, including citizens, organized groups, companies, educational institutions, and local authorities. Special recognition is given to those who mobilized their staff to strengthen the collective effort. The PCCS seeks the continuous development of actions to support society and calls on all interested parties to participate in the Volunteering Network, so that assistance to those in need can continue even after the holidays.
