OSAK Opposes OKYpY Request to Postpone Discussion on Ambulance National Agency Bill

OSAK (Cyprus Federation of Patient Associations) expresses strong opposition to OKYpY's proposal to postpone the discussion of the bill for the establishment of the National Ambulance Agency. OSAK argues that the Agency is necessary to fill the gap in emergency and pre-hospital care, and that the continued presence of the ambulance service within OKYpY is a distortion. It also points out that the creation of an independent agency was a government commitment and that this delay is unacceptable. OSAK calls on the government to remain steadfast in its decisions and to promote the independence of the Agency.
