Panathinaikos Coach Benitez Eyes Aris Player

Rafa Benitez, the new coach of Panathinaikos, is beginning to familiarize himself with the Greek league and the players of opposing teams. In a recent match against Aris, he appeared impressed by the performance of Alvaro Tejero, the team's left-back. Tejero is considered one of Aris's few successful transfers and stood out in the match. Panathinaikos had previously sought a similar left-back in Spain, but without success. Due to the possible departure of Kotsiras and the high price of Kalambria, Tejero could be a reliable solution to strengthen the team. Tejero has a contract with Aris for another year and a half, however, with Alafouzos's financial capabilities, the Panathinaikos administration could try to acquire him. The need to strengthen the right-back position in the summer may lead to a similar search for that position as well.
