Paphos ETAP and Forestry Department Launch Tree Planting Initiative

The Paphos Regional Tourism Development and Promotion Company, with the financial support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and in close collaboration with the Forestry Department - Paphos Branch, carried out a tree planting initiative in the coastal area of Gialia, in the Municipality of Paphos, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. The aim of the initiative is primarily to strengthen the effort against climate change, gradually restore greenery, and generally beautify areas. The Paphos ETAP provided 160 seedlings to the Forestry Department for this specific area. The ETAP Paphos warmly thanks the Forestry Department for its cooperation and effort and calls on all stakeholders to strengthen efforts to protect and restore green spaces as an action that contributes to the embellishment of our island and the fight against global warming. The ETAP Paphos is planning similar actions for the remainder of 2026.
