A 30-year-old man has been arrested and detained for 8 days as a suspect in the murder of his 41-year-old uncle in Paphos, Cyprus. The man confessed to stabbing his uncle but claims he did not intend to kill him. The victim, Georgi Marinov Ivanov, was taken to hospital with a knife embedded in his abdomen but succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating the case as premeditated murder and are examining testimonies and forensic analyses. Three other passengers were found in the victim's car, while a 29-year-old found in the suspect's car sustained burns and abrasions and is hospitalised.
