Patriot Systems Deployed to Karpathos – Two Frigates to Cyprus

The modern frigate 'Kimoon' has departed for Cyprus, marking its first substantial mission and contributing to the strengthening of the island’s air defense. It is supported by the frigate 'Psara' and four F-16 aircraft, which have already been stationed at the ‘Andreas Papandreou’ airbase in Paphos. Simultaneously, a Patriot battery is being transferred to Karpathos, as part of measures to enhance Greece's air defense due to the unrest in the Middle East.
