President Christodoulides in Cairo for Energy Discussions
The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, is visiting Egypt today to participate in the EGYPES 2026 energy exhibition and conference. On the sidelines of the event, he will meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. President Christodoulides will also attend the conference's opening ceremony and meet with the CEO of TOTAL/Energies. This visit highlights the importance of energy cooperation between Cyprus and Egypt, as well as the effort towards energy security and sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. The President is accompanied by the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Michalis Damianou, and other officials.
