President Receives Activity Reports from Communications Office and Digital Security Authority

The activity reports of the Office of the Commissioner for Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation (OCECPR) and the Digital Security Authority (DSA) for 2024 were delivered to the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides. The reports include information on the mission, objectives, responsibilities, organizational structure, operation, and achievements of the two services, as well as statistical analyses and financial statements. The Commissioner for Communications, Giorgos Michaelides, emphasized the importance of adapting the regulatory framework to enhance competition, promote investment, and ensure consumer rights. The DSA report highlights the increasing complexity of digital threats and the need for continuous improvement of digital defense, emphasizing that digital security is a collective responsibility.
