Rain Brings Relief to Cyprus, and a Breath of Fresh Air for the President

Rainfall in Cyprus has improved the situation in the dams, removing the spectre of drought and giving the government a political respite. The article ironically refers to the influence of the gods (Zeus) and saints (Prophet Elijah) on the hydrological situation. At the same time, it criticizes Cypriot identity and the move away from Greek thought, as well as the policy of President Christodoulides regarding the Bases. The article concludes with a more general criticism of Cypriot society and the loss of dialectical thinking.
