Sani/Ikos Group to Invest €400 Million in Halkidiki Resort

The Sani/Ikos Group is moving forward with a €400 million investment in Halkidiki, following the approval of environmental terms for the upgrade and modernization of the Pallini Beach Hotel, Athos Palace, and Theophano Imperial hotels. The investment will lead to the creation of Ikos Grand, a 5-star luxury resort with 2,217 beds. The project includes a complete renovation of the existing hotel units, which were acquired by the Sani/Ikos Group in April 2025. The investment will involve the development of restaurants, cafes, shops, an internal road network, parking spaces, and a new wastewater treatment plant. Additionally, swimming pools (3 public and 33 private at Pallini Beach Hotel, 2 public and 18 private at Athos Palace – Theophano Imperial) will be constructed, as well as sports facilities such as tennis and volleyball courts. The investment aims to enhance the complex's profile as a comprehensive luxury beach front resort. At the same time, leadership changes within the group have been announced, with Andreas Andreou transitioning to the role of Co-Founder & Managing Partner and Jean-Marc Bellaiche taking over as CEO from January 1, 2026. The group has increased its size sevenfold since 2015 and aims to double its capacity by 2029/30.
