Schools in Akrotiri Closed on Monday

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus announced that the Akrotiri Kindergarten and Primary School, as well as the Akrotiri Environmental Education Center, will remain closed on Monday, March 9, 2026, as a precautionary measure. The decision applies to both teachers and students, as well as all other staff. Instructions have been given to activate the distance learning system, while the Educational Psychology Service of the Ministry is available to provide support to students, teachers and parents/guardians.
