Spain: At Least One Dead as Torrential Rains Cause Severe Flooding

At least one person has died in severe flooding in southern Spain, with two others missing. The victim was found in the Alaurín el Grande area of Malaga. Heavy rainfall caused flooding in many roads, and emergency services are working to clear them. The Spanish Prime Minister has called on citizens to exercise maximum caution. The national meteorological service has lowered the alert level, but warns of the risk of flooding in some areas. Spain has been severely affected by floods in the past, with over 230 deaths in 2024.
