Strong Interest from Major Funds for Bank of Cyprus

Major investment funds have shown strong interest in Bank of Cyprus during meetings in London, as part of the Morgan Stanley European Financial Conference. Among the funds expressing interest were Wellington, Allied Bernstein, Fidelity, and T Rowe Price, which manage billions of dollars in assets. The bank held meetings with 30 investment funds from Europe and America. Investors were particularly positive about the bank's business plan and recognized it as one of the most successful restructuring cases in the European banking sector, considering it well-capitalized. The dividend targets announced by the bank were considered attractive and higher than those of other banks in the region. Furthermore, investor interest was not significantly affected by geopolitical tensions, as they believe that European banks are able to manage the increased uncertainty.
