“The Sea as Witness: An Archaeological Memory” | Film Screenings at Endrosia

The film screening series “The Sea as Witness: An Archaeological Memory,” curated by Cindy Chehab, will take place at Endrosia Project Space in Nicosia from February 13 to 15, 2026. The series explores how the sea can function as an archive and how cinema can capture its history. The films to be screened come from the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and beyond, and explore themes such as borders, migration, and loss. The event is part of the en drasei series, which focuses on queer practices, memory, and ecology. Admission is free with a suggested donation of €10 for the three days, with the contribution from the first day going to support the family featured in the film Terrace of the Sea.
