Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Education Official Against Ministry of Education

The Supreme Constitutional Court ruled in favor of a speech therapist who appealed against the Ministry of Education, as the Ministry did not conduct a proper investigation and justification before rejecting her request for part-time employment in the private sector. The Court found that the Ministry failed to examine whether her case was exceptional, as provided by law. The teacher had applied to provide therapies in the field of dysphagia, but her request was rejected on grounds of self-employment. The Court ruled that the Ministry applied the law in an absolute manner, without taking into account the particular circumstances of the case.
