Trade Unions Submit Memorandum to President on Minimum Wage, Collective Bargaining, and Labor Issues

Trade unions have submitted a memorandum to the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, with four key points concerning labor relations. These points include the inadequacy of the national minimum wage in relation to the cost of living, the extension of the application of collective bargaining agreements, the revision of the strategy for employing workers from third countries, and the improvement of the implementation of the 'Ergani 2' system. The trade unions are requesting a meeting with the President, in the presence of the Minister of Labor, to discuss these issues and set priorities and timelines. In addition, the Labor Advisory Board will convene on Friday.
