Trump to Starmer: "We Don't Need You Anymore, But We'll Remember" – "We Are Not Seeking Compromise with Iran"

US President Donald Trump gave a brief update on the war with Iran on Saturday evening, speaking to reporters on Air Force One, but declined to say how long the attacks would last, stating that “I never make those predictions, it will continue as long as it needs to.” “Their drone capability has been significantly reduced and we hit them where it hurts, including almost all forms of leadership that a country can have — we have eliminated them,” Trump said, en route to Florida. Asked about the possibility of deploying ground troops, the US President said he didn't want to talk about it, calling the question “inappropriate.” “Could it happen? Perhaps, for a very serious reason — there would have to be a very serious reason,” Trump said. “I would say that if we ever did something like that, they (Iran) would be so decimated they couldn’t fight on a ground level” he said. On March 1, Starmer announced that he had approved a request from the United States to use British military bases for what he described as a “specific and limited defensive purpose,” namely the destruction of Iranian missiles, while clarifying that the United Kingdom would not participate in the war. However, on Monday, Trump told the Daily Telegraph that he was “very disappointed” with Starmer, saying that the British Prime Minister was slow…
