Ukrainian Ambassador Urged to Address Embassy Issues in Cyprus

A Cypriot citizen, K. Zadis, has voiced strong dissatisfaction with the operation of the Ukrainian embassy in Nicosia. He alleges that the embassy, instead of serving Ukrainian citizens, causes them hardship with delayed appointments (3-4 months) that are often cancelled at the last minute. Citizens, many of whom are war refugees, are forced to travel from distant cities, losing time and money, while communication with the embassy is difficult due to unanswered phones and the poor attitude of staff. Mr. Zadis highlights the contrast with the prompt and efficient service received by Ukrainian citizens in Ukraine itself, even in wartime conditions.
