US Court Rules in Favor of Masked ICE Agents

A US court has ruled that the use of masks by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents is legal, despite the controversy it causes. Judge Kristina Schneider ruled that the "No Secret Police Act" is an “illegal” discrimination as it applies only to federal agents and not to local or state police. This decision allows ICE agents to continue wearing masks, but requires them to wear identification badges. This has drawn reactions from lawmakers who want the law amended to apply to all police officers.
