US Used New PrSM Missile to Strike Sports Center and School in Iran – Unclear if Strikes Were Intentional
A deadly attack in southern Iran used a weapon believed to be the new American PrSM ballistic missile. The attack struck a sports center and a public school near a military facility, resulting in at least 21 deaths. Experts and New York Times analysis confirm that the weapon's characteristics match the PrSM, which detonates above the target and releases tungsten pellets. Simultaneously, a Tomahawk cruise missile was used in another attack in the city of Minab, resulting in 175 deaths. Questions are raised as to whether the strikes were intentional or the result of an error, as the school and sports center did not appear to have a direct connection to the military facility.
