Venezuela: Seven-Day National Mourning for Victims of US 'Attack'

The interim president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, declared seven days of national mourning for the victims of the US military 'attack' that led to the capture of President Nicolas Maduro. The exact death toll is still unclear, but at least 55 people are reported to have been killed, including military personnel from Venezuela and Cuba. Rodriguez accused the US of the losses and expressed her gratitude to the deceased, calling them martyrs of democracy. She also assured that Venezuela is governed by its legitimate government and not by foreign powers.
