President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will visit Cyprus on Thursday and Friday, January 15-16, 2026, Deputy Spokesperson of the Commission, Arianna Podesta, said during the midday briefing for accredited journalists in Brussels.
CNA has learnt that it will be a visit of the College of Commissioners, chaired by Von der Leyen, which will take place at the Port of Limassol on the morning of Friday, January 16.
The remaining programme of both the President and the 27 Commissioners has not yet been announced.
