Apartments and single-family homes saw the largest increases, while mixed-use buildings experienced a significant decline. The total number of residential units reached 10,820, an increase of 22.9%. In contrast, the non-residential sector saw a 36.5% decrease in the number of permits, however, the total value and area increased marginally, indicating the construction of fewer but larger projects.
