Cyprus is experiencing the impact of strong winds, resulting in multiple incidents requiring the intervention of the Fire Service. In Nicosia, 12 incidents were recorded, mainly involving fallen trees and awnings. A similar situation is unfolding in other provinces, such as Famagusta and Limassol, where trees have fallen and sparks have been reported from electrical cables. Authorities are on high alert to deal with the consequences of the extreme weather conditions.
