Consumers Say Exclusion of Heating Oil from Subsidy is Unjustified

The Cypriot Consumers Association condemns the exclusion of heating oil from the recent reduction in fuel consumption tax, describing it as unfair and unjustified. Heating oil has increased by an average of 32 cents per liter since March 1st, and further increases are expected. The Association estimates that the average monthly consumption of heating oil is 2549 tons, and calls for the immediate inclusion of heating oil in the reduced fuel consumption tax rate.
