19,000 Flights Cancelled in Middle East Since Saturday

Approximately 19,000 flights have been cancelled in the Middle East since Saturday, due to increased tensions and exchanges between Israel, Iran and other countries in the region. While some flights have begun to resume, the situation remains difficult and dangerous, with Qatar reporting that it prevented Iranian attacks on its airport. Cancellations reached 55% of scheduled routes, affecting approximately 900,000 aircraft seats daily. The United Arab Emirates recorded the highest cancellation rate (80%), while flights continue to operate from Saudi Arabia and Oman. Simultaneously, special flights are being organized for the repatriation of stranded travelers.
