Cyprus Coffee Makers Recalled Due to Safety Concerns

The Electromechanical Services Department has announced a recall of two types of Cypriot coffee makers, models RAF R.150 and SILVER LB170, due to a serious safety risk. These devices pose a risk of burns due to overflow during operation or if the operation is interrupted, even if lifted from the base. The distributors, K. Konstantinou & Sons Ltd/CYCLE TECH LTD for the RAF model and CYCLE TECH LTD/Savas A. Ioannou for the SILVER model, are responsible for the recall and effective removal of the products from the market. Consumers are urged to return the coffee makers to the distributors, where they will be provided with free and timely replacement or repair. The Electromechanical Services Department requests anyone knowing sales points of the products or needing more information to contact them. Additionally, consumers can stay informed about dangerous products through the European Union's Safety Gate website.
