Cyprus, Egypt, and Greece FMs Discuss Security, Energy, Shipping, and Regional Developments

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Egypt, and Greece met in Cairo to discuss issues of security, energy, shipping, and regional developments. During the meeting, the ministers assessed the trilateral cooperation in these areas, in anticipation of the 11th Trilateral Summit to be held in Cyprus in 2026. The discussions also focused on regional developments, with emphasis on the Middle East, Gaza, Libya, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, and Ethiopia. The meeting is a continuation of the close cooperation between the three countries on matters of common interest. The trilateral cooperation between Cyprus, Egypt, and Greece has intensified in recent years, aiming to promote stability and security in the region.
