North Korea: Kim Jong Un and Teenage Daughter Visit Family Mausoleum

The daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has made her first official public appearance at the family mausoleum, where her grandfather Kim Jong Il and great-grandfather Kim Il Sung are laid to rest. This visit, recorded by state media, is seen by experts as an indication of her preparation for succession. The teenage daughter of Kim Jong Un has previously appeared in state media photos accompanying her father on important events, such as missile tests and visits to China. However, her identity and age have never been officially revealed. According to reports, the daughter's name is Ju Ae and she is estimated to be 13 or 14 years old. The Kim family has ruled North Korea since its founding, with previous leaders being referred to as “eternal leaders” in state propaganda. South Korean intelligence believes it is almost certain that Kim Jong Un's daughter will one day take power, continuing the dynastic succession in North Korea.
