According to the Director of the Press Office of the President, Viktoras Papadopoulos, the conversation initially concerned formalities and recommendations regarding investments in the energy sector. Mr. Papadopoulos stated that the video call was preceded by mediation from former Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis. Additionally, he informed that the authorities are investigating the incident as a hybrid attack and are expected to deliver a report to the Presidential Palace. He emphasized that the government is not responsible for the statements of private individuals.
