Will Smith Sued for Sexual Harassment by Violinist – Response from Actor's Lawyer

Violinist Brian King Joseph has filed a lawsuit against Will Smith and his company, Treyball Studios Management, Inc., alleging sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation. According to the lawsuit, Smith “deliberately groomed” Joseph for “sexual exploitation” during his Based on a True Story: 2025 world tour. Joseph claims he found suspicious items in his hotel room, including a note signed “Stone F” implying a sexual encounter. After informing hotel staff and Smith's associates, Joseph alleges he was fired and replaced by another violinist. The lawsuit states that Joseph suffered emotional distress, financial damage, and defamation. Will Smith's lawyer, Allen B. Grodsky, categorically denied the allegations, calling them false, baseless, and reckless. He stated that Smith would use all legal means to address the charges and reveal the truth. Joseph had participated in America’s Got Talent in 2018, where he placed in the top three.
