Two Minors Arrested in Nicosia for Riding Stolen Motorcycles

Two minors, aged 15 and 16, were arrested in Nicosia for riding stolen motorcycles. The incidents were discovered by members of the Nicosia TAE, who found the two young men driving the vehicles dangerously. The motorcycles, scooter-type, had been reported stolen a few days earlier from areas of Strovolos and Nicosia. The minors were arrested for immediate offenses and taken to the Nicosia Central Police Station, where their guardians were also summoned. They were released to be summoned at a later stage for further investigation. The first motorcycle was stolen from an open parking lot in Strovolos between January 7th and 8th, while the second was stolen from a residential parking lot in Nicosia on January 8th. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the thefts. The arrest of the two minors is part of the police's efforts to combat crime and protect public safety.
