EU: Condemns Iran's unjustified attacks on Gulf countries

The European Union and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) strongly condemn Iranian attacks against Gulf countries, describing them as unjustified and dangerous for regional and global stability. They call on Iran to immediately stop the attacks and reaffirm their solidarity with the GCC countries. The Foreign Ministers emphasized their commitment to regional stability and called for the protection of civilians and full respect for international law. They recalled the need to limit Iran's nuclear program and ballistic missile program, as well as to refrain from destabilizing activities. In their joint statement, they condemn the recent attacks on civilian infrastructure, such as oil facilities and residential areas, and acknowledge the diplomatic efforts made to avoid escalation. They reaffirm the inherent right of GCC countries to defend themselves, individually and collectively, in accordance with the United Nations Charter. They emphasize the need to restore regional stability and security, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to dialogue and diplomacy, while praising the constructive role of Oman in this matter.
