Remarkable Discovery: 35 Rembrandt Works Found in Dutch Home

An incredible discovery was made by Charlotte Meyer, who found 35 authentic Rembrandt etchings in an old folder left to her by her grandfather. The artworks had been in a drawer in her home in the Dutch town of Zutphen for decades. Experts at the Rembrandt Museum confirmed their authenticity. Meyer's grandfather acquired the etchings in the early 20th century, at a time when they were not considered particularly valuable. The collection will be exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Zutphen from March 21st to June 14th. The collection's value is significant, given the recent high prices achieved at Rembrandt artwork auctions.
