Iran: 'Very Limited' Internet Connectivity Restoration

Netblocks has reported a 'very limited' increase in internet connectivity in Iran after 200 hours of disruption linked to protests against the government. However, overall connectivity remains around 2% of normal levels, with no indication of widespread restoration. Human rights organizations claim the outage was intended to conceal the extent of the crackdown. According to Iran Human Rights (IHR), at least 3,428 people have been killed since the start of the protests, which initially began over the cost of living. The situation remains tense and access to information is restricted.
