Discussion Table for the Second Division

A broad meeting was held in Larnaca, initiated by the KOP, to discuss issues concerning the Second Division Championship. The meeting was chaired by the President of the KOP, Charis Loizidis, and included representatives from the Second Division teams, members of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the KOP, as well as representatives of the Second Division in the KOP General Assembly. The meeting took place at the ASIL Lysi premises and started at 6:00 PM. The meeting is a continuation of previous discussions and exchange of views at the KOP Board of Directors regarding issues related to the Second Division. The aim of the meeting is to find solutions and improve the functioning of the championship. Specific issues discussed during the meeting were not mentioned, however, the presence of all stakeholders indicates the importance given to the Second Division and the need for cooperation and dialogue. The KOP seeks to create a healthy and competitive environment in the Second Division, promoting the development of football in Cyprus and giving opportunities to young athletes to emerge.
