China's Foreign Trade Continues to Grow for Nine Consecutive Years

China's foreign trade volume has continued to increase for nine consecutive years, successfully exceeding the milestones of 40 trillion yuan (approximately 4.94 trillion euros) and 45 trillion yuan (approximately 5.56 trillion euros) to reach 45.47 trillion yuan in 2025 (approximately 5.62 trillion euros). This growth is attributed to exports of high-tech products and green products, tariff reductions, and the country's institutional opening-up. China's foreign trade offers opportunities for mutual benefit and sustainable development globally. Chinese exports serve as a key framework for cooperation, with foreign-invested enterprises benefiting the most. According to customs data, in 2025, the foreign trade of foreign-funded enterprises was recorded at 13.27 trillion yuan (approximately 1.64 trillion euros), an increase of 3.7% year-on-year, maintaining its growth trend for seven consecutive years. China is striving to create a more open and fair trade system that supports development and promotes cooperation between countries.
