Taxi Drivers to Stage 24-Hour Strike

The Pan-Cypriot Confederation of Taxi Owners (POAT) has announced a 24-hour strike from 6:00 AM on Tuesday to 6:00 AM on Wednesday, due to the lack of response from relevant authorities following a previous four-hour work stoppage. POAT warns that if there is no response, it will proceed with an indefinite strike from Tuesday, January 27th. Taxi meeting points during the strike will be at Larnaca and Paphos airports, as well as at the Potamos Germasogeias parking area in Limassol.
