Mantria Community Returns Home, Remains Vigilant

The community of Mantria is gradually returning to normalcy, with all approximately 2,000 residents having returned to their homes and jobs. Despite the return, a sense of “uneasy calm” prevails, as stated by Community President Christos Michailidis, highlighting the continued vigilance. The local authority is in constant communication with Civil Defence and is awaiting approval for the installation and staffing of a siren system, as a means of immediate information and warning to citizens. A reception area has already been designated at the Museum of the Statos – Agios Fotiou community, in case of a new evacuation. The community remains on alert, with the safety and timely information of residents as a priority.
