Kremlin: Trilateral Talks on Ukraine Paused Due to War in Iran

The Kremlin has announced that trilateral talks between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine are on hold due to the war in Iran. According to the Russian newspaper Izvestia, the Kremlin believes that the war in Iran could push Kyiv towards a compromise. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev will continue to work on investment and economic cooperation, but the trilateral talks have been suspended. The pause in talks indicates a worsening of the situation and an increase in uncertainty about reaching a peaceful solution in Ukraine.
