This year, there is a noticeable increase in the confidence of Cypriot teams in Cypriot football players. So far, Cypriot players have scored 50 goals in the league, while last year they scored a total of 59 goals. This suggests that there is significant talent in Cypriot football and that, if properly utilized, players capable of making a difference to their teams can emerge, as appears to be happening this year.
