Legal Proceedings Launched Against Hezbollah Members in Lebanon

A Lebanese court has initiated legal proceedings against four members of Hezbollah, accused of offenses related to weapons possession. This move follows the Lebanese authorities' ban on the group's military activities in response to Lebanon's involvement in the Middle East conflict and Hezbollah's attack on Israel. Two of the members were arrested while transporting rockets, while the other two were found in possession of unauthorized military weapons. The case has been referred to the First Examining Magistrate in Beirut for further investigation and the issuance of arrest warrants. This decision comes after the release of three Hezbollah members on bail, which sparked controversy. Simultaneously, Israel has intensified air strikes and ground incursions into southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah strongholds.
