Στόχος του IDF έγινε και ο γραμματέας του Ανώτατου Συμβουλίου Εθνικής Ασφαλείας του Ιράν, Αλί Λαριτζανί, σύμφωνα με ισραηλινά μέσα ενημέρωσης χωρίς για την ώρα να έχει υπάρξει αντίδραση από την Τεχεράνη.
Πριν από 12 ώρες ο Λαριτζανί είχε καλέσει σε ενότητα τις μουσουλμανικές χώρες αναφέροντας ότι η σημερινή αντιπαράθεση είναι μεταξύ «των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών και του Ισραήλ από τη μία πλευρά και του μουσουλμανικού Ιράν και των δυνάμεων της αντίστασης από την άλλη. Σε ποια πλευρά αυτής της μάχης στέκεστε;» ρώτησε και προειδοποίησε ότι το μέλλον της περιοχής εξαρτάται από τη μεγαλύτερη ενότητα μεταξύ των μουσουλμανικών κρατών.

Israel Strikes Iranian Security Official Alireza Larijani
Israeli media reports that Israel carried out a strike against Alireza Larijani, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. The strike comes hours after Larijani called for unity among Muslim countries in the face of the confrontation between the US/Israel and Iran/resistance forces. Larijani warned that the future of the region depends on the unity of Muslim states.
