Erdogan and Trump to Discuss Ukraine and Gaza on Monday

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that he will hold a phone call with US President Donald Trump on Monday to discuss peace efforts between Ukraine and Russia, as well as issues concerning Gaza. Speaking to reporters in Istanbul on Friday, Erdogan also mentioned that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will attend a meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing,' a group of states supporting Ukraine, in Paris in the coming days. Turkey maintains an active diplomatic position in the effort to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and has expressed concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
