Russian Drone Attack Leaves 35,000 Homes Without Power in Ukraine's Odessa Region

Approximately 35,000 households in Ukraine's Odessa region have been left without power following a Russian drone attack. The attack caused significant damage to power infrastructure, with the DTEK company warning that restoration will take time. In the city of Odessa, the attack hit infrastructure facilities and an apartment building, resulting in two injuries. Ukraine is experiencing widespread power outages in many cities, including Kyiv and Dnipro, due to ongoing Russian airstrikes. Low temperatures, reaching -18 degrees Celsius, are exacerbating the situation, causing problems with heating and water supply. The Ukrainian Air Force intercepted 135 of the 156 Russian drones launched.
