Over 60 Flight Cancellations Today - Airports Operating Normally

Larnaca and Paphos airports are operating normally despite disruptions to the international air network caused by developments in the Middle East and flight cancellations. Hermes Airports assures that it is working closely with state authorities and the airport community to serve passengers. However, a total of 66 flights (48 in Larnaca and 18 in Paphos) have been cancelled for today, March 4th, while 103 flights are expected (65 in Larnaca and 38 in Paphos). Despite the cancellations, there is direct connectivity from both airports to several countries, including the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Egypt, Hungary, Italy, France, Belgium, Armenia, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Lithuania and Lebanon, through various airlines. Passengers are advised to check the websites of airlines or contact their travel agents for accurate information and bookings. The situation remains fluid, but airlines have scheduled additional regular flights to and from Cypriot airports during the second ten days of March. Hermes Airports is closely monitoring the situation and will keep the public informed of any changes to the flight schedule. The priority is the safe and smooth service of travellers, despite the challenges posed by geopolitical developments.
